Next month the Aluminum Association will be hosting another Casthouse Safety Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. The program for the biannual workshop change as requested by the attendees. This program will have presenters discuss two hazards that the Aluminium Plant Safety Blog knows too well; aluminium fines, and safe isolation (lock out tag out).
We did want to mention that the deadline to get the discount hotel room rate is Monday, October 19, 2015 (This Monday!). In addition, there are only a limited amount of registrations available for the workshop. People were turned away in Pittsburgh due to high number of registration numbers. To our knowledge that is the first time that has happened.
