We
have failed to post the social media positive safety stories that we have
found recently. Here is one of our favorites:
When
we saw this photo we smiled. Why, because we know what it means to workers to hear
the chief executive talk in person. It matters greatly. To many workers it
means that management honestly does care about their own safety.
Many
of the safest companies in our industry are led by a CEO who has taken an
active participation in promoting safety. On our travels visiting plants we
have seen the differences on the factory floor if the CEO is actively participant
in promoting safety compared to the companies where the CEO is not actively
participating.
The
Aluminium Plant Safety Blog has posted many stories about the good work Sapa
does on a daily basis to facilitate, educate and promote a safe working
environment. They do such a great job! We are very proud of Sapa and all the
good work they do. Keep up the good work!
