At the beginning of January 2012 a fire occurred at an aluminum smelter as a result of a short circuit in an electric furnace. As a result of the incident, a worker of the plant was injured. As per report ten meters of conveyor belt caught fire as a result of short circuit in electric furnace During the incident the worker suffered thermal burns and was hospitalized.
