Firemen put out a large fire Wednesday at an Egypt Aluminium Company complex in Nagaa Hammadi, Qena.
A security source said that the fire started in a building allocated for one of most important phases in producing aluminum. The building held flammable tar, which led the four-story building to completely burn, a source within the factory said.
Security authorities are still investigating the fire and its causes.
An official source at the Qena governor’s office told that the Governor is cutting his vacation short and will visit the aluminum plant later on Wednesday to be updated on the investigations.
