Cholorine Leak Sends Workers to the Hospital.

Here is a story of an aluminium plant that had a chlorine leak.

A chemical leak sent two people to the hospital during the week of April 1, 2013 at an aluminium plant in the Midwest United States. Plant spokesperson says the small leak was shutdown as soon as it was discovered. Two employees were taken to a local hospital for treatment and later released. The plant is back to normal operations.

This is the second chlorine leak that the APSB has posted in as many months. The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has numerous documents and safety information when dealing with chlorine. OSHA's guidelines can be viewed here. OSHA also has an informative Safety & Health Topics regarding chlorine, which can be viewed here.
