Great job Bonnell Aluminum !

There are many companies who have done a great job on holding social activities with their workers. These activities always have a safety theme reinforcing the importance the aluminium company places on the worker's well-being. The APSB is so very proud of the imagination of aluminium companies around the globe to find a common interest of their workers, hold an event, and talk about worker safety. From workers volunteering their time, to company hosted tournaments, etc. have been used to promote worker safety. The use of professional or collegiate sports in promoting worker safety has grown over the years. Where ever your plant is there is a national sport(s). That sport(s) can be used a basis for a social activity where worker safety is promoted. Here is a recent example of an aluminium company using a social activity to promote worker safety:

Congratulations to Bonnell Aluminum Newnan on hosting this event! In the USA the popularity of the NFL or “American Football” is without equal and makes hosting an event like this easy to do.

Does your plant hold events that uses a common interest (in this case sports) to bring workers together and talk about the common interest and bring up the importance of worker safety? If not you should. Any opportunity where you can interact with your employees and promote the importance of working safely should be taken advantage.
