The amount of incidents involving both injuries and fatalities associated with machinery in 2015 has been simply staggering. The Aluminium Plant Safety Blog has posted regularly incidents involving machinery and hazards including but not limited to lockout tagout, confined space, rigging, machine guarding, electrical, etc. Here is a recent story highlighting the continued importance of safety training pertaining toward machinery.

Local police have confirmed that the worker injured at aluminium packaging plant one day in the Eastern United States during the week November 25, 2015 has died.

They say that worker was transported 15 kilometers to a nearby hospital after he got caught in a piece of machinery at the plant. He died shortly after at the hospital.

Local fire and emergency crews responded to the industrial accident around 11:30 a.m. one morning at the plant.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
