“Believe it to Achieve it”

Alba CEO Tim Murray along with other officials during their visit to Reduction Line 4 as part of the Company’s first plant-wide Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Week of 2017 “Believe it to Achieve it”, that was launched today, Sunday, March 05, 2017.

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, kicked-off its first plant-wide Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Week of 2017 under the theme “Believe it to Achieve it”, today, Sunday, March 05, 2017.

The campaign was launched to further strengthen Alba’s commitment to Safety and boost awareness on the proper use of Tools, Equipment and Pedestrian Safety.

Commenting on the “Believe it to Achieve it” SHE Campaign, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said:

“Alba continues to keep Safety as its number one priority and the “Believe it to Achieve it” campaign will continue to enforce our belief that a ZERO injury work environment is possible.”

The “Believe it to Achieve it” SHE Campaign is in line with Alba’s CEO Expectation ‘Safety Tomorrowland’ for 2017 and will feature many safety visits by Alba’s top officials to various areas of the plant as well as safety awareness sessions on the chosen topics.

We congratulate ALBA management on continuing with these great safety campaigns. We have visited ALBA and can say with confidence that the factory floor workers honestly feel that management honestly cares about their wellbeing. The importance of that feeling is hard to quantify initially, but can be seen in a decrease in incidents overtime.

We love what you do to promote safety within your plant and throughout our industry. Keep up the good work Alba!
