Working from height is a hazard that most in our industry are well aware of. Still incidents occur. Here is another incident of a worker falling through a roof.
A man was seriously injured on Thursday after rushing from the roof of an industrial plant located in the (location omitted). The accident at tool place in an aluminum profiling company located on (location omitted), where the worker was carrying out tasks in height.
The accident occurred (in the morning), when the operator fell from a height of approximately eight meters, impacting the ground and suffering various injuries of consideration, according to the emergency service.
Due to the severity of the injuries, it has been necessary to intervene urgently from a medical helicopter, which has transferred the injured person to a (hospital nearly 50 km away) to receive specialized care. Civilian Guard, Local Police and a basic life support ambulance have also been displaced to the site of the incident.
At the moment, no further
details have been released about the exact circumstances of the accident, nor
about the current state of the worker.
This new accident at work again focuses on safety conditions in industrial environments, especially at risk tasks such as those involving high-rise work.
