It has been 6 months since the local contractor at a smelter in Brazil died from injuries sustained when hit by a forklift in October 2011.
"Our
thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this very difficult
time for us all," the plant's managing director said after the accident,
adding that the smelter is in the process of establishing a committee to
investigate the incident.
The
contractor was immediately taken to hospital in the nearby city following the
incident, which occurred just before 6 p.m. local time last Thursday.
