"Melting boiler exploded in metal factory..."


The hazards associated with melting aluminium are sometimes overlooked. Here is a recent incident highlighting the hazards associated with melting aluminium:

Catastrophic fire in (location omitted) ! Melting boiler exploded in metal factory: 3 workers injured, 1 of them seriously!

The explosion that took place in the (location omitted) brought hearts to the mouth. The fire that broke out as a result of the explosion of the melting boiler in the aluminum processing plant caused fearful moments. While 3 workers were injured, 1 of them seriously, firefighters brought the flames under control. The seriously injured worker was taken to the hospital. Here are the details...

The incident occurred at 07:00 at the aluminum processing facility named (name and location omitted). For reasons that have not yet been determined, the melting/processing boiler in the production section of the plant exploded with a loud noise. A fire broke out in the factory with the force of the explosion.


TEAMS CAME ONE AFTER THE OTHER

Upon notification, many emergency health, gendarmerie and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area. The fire was intervened by (local fire department). The fire was brought under control and extinguished after about 2 hours of intervention.

WORKER WORKING NEXT TO THE ACCIDENT WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED

During the explosion, one worker, who was working in the immediate vicinity of the accident and was caught in the flames, was seriously injured. The injured worker, who was taken out of the factory by firefighters and medical teams, was taken to (local hospital) by ambulance and treated after first aid at the scene.


INVESTIGATION STARTED

Police and fire brigade teams launched a large-scale investigation to determine the cause and exact cause of the explosion, which caused extensive damage to the facility.
