When fires break out in our plants there can be a great deal of
flames and smoke generated in seconds. Here is a recent incident highlighting
the hazard of fires in our workplaces.
A
fire that broke out in an aluminium factory in (location name omitted) was
extinguished.
A
fire broke out in the aluminum factory operating in the (location name omitted)in
the district (name omitted) for an unknown reason.
A
large number of fire brigades were dispatched to the area upon being informed.
With the work of fire brigades, the fire was extinguished and cooling work was
carried out.
In
the meantime, some of the factory employees prevented members of the press who
tried to cover the event.
"The
fire was overcome in the lightest way"
The
local Governor inspected the factory and wished the factory officials a speedy
recovery.
The
local governor told reporters after the inspection that the fire brigade
responded to the fire in a short time.
Stating
that the fire was prevented from spreading to other parts of the factory and
other factories with quick intervention, the local governor said, "The
fire was overcome in the lightest way. Thankfully, there were no casualties or
injuries. We say get well soon. Both the factory's own teams intervened quickly
and our fire brigade intervened quickly and prevented the fire from growing further.
May God keep it from worse."
The
local governor was accompanied by numerous other governmental officials and
factory officials.
Thankfully it appears no one was injured in this fire. We assume
that the workplace immediately contacted the local fire departments.
We have seen a video and the size of the flames were great. Thankfully,
the fire departments that responded were able to extinguish the flames.
As the one photo shows the fire appears to have occurred at a paint
line in an extrusion plant. If your workplace has a paint line. If a fire
breaks out, how will your workplace address the fire?
