One of the most dangerous hazards in workplaces are forklifts. They have the unique ability to be in one location then another location a moment later. That ability to move around increases the risk. Here is a recent incident highlighting the need for forklift safety training.

A worker at an aluminum plant in (location omitted) has serious injuries following an incident with a forklift one morning in November 2025.

The incident happened at (aluminium company name omitted) on (location name omitted).

“A serious incident occurred this morning at our (location name omitted) facility involving one of our employees, and our thoughts are with our colleague and his family during this difficult time. We are conducting a thorough investigation into what happened, and our immediate focus is on supporting the injured employee, his family, and our workforce,” a (aluminium company) spokesperson said in a statement to (news media).

We are thankful the worker survived the incident. We acknowledge how amazing that is. We normally report on fatalities not injuries. We pray for a full recovery for the injured worker.
