"about 65% of the worker's body was hit"

The use of chemicals in our workplaces is commplace. The importance of wearing appropriate safety clothing depending on the chemical is highlighted in this incident.

A 31-year-old worker suffered severe burns with caustic soda in an aluminum factory on Thursday afternoon (13). The accident happened in (name omitted) Industrial Park, near (name omitted).

Emergency management services were at the scene and provided first aid to the victim, identified as (name omitted), still inside the factory.

According to witnesses, the accident with the man occurred when the tank that stored the caustic soda exploded and the product hit (the injured worker).

According to firefighters, about 65% of the worker's body was hit by the chemical. The man's health condition is considered very serious.

The injured worker was sent to the (name omitted) Hospital to receive specialized treatment for burns.

We pray that the injured worker will recover from his injuries. This incident would have been eliminated or minimized if the worker was wearing the appropriate safety clothing.
