"worker killed after being run over by forklift..."

Forklifts and moveable equipment are unique they can be located in one area one moment and another location a moment later.

A foreign worker in his 40s was crushed to death by a forklift at an aluminum product manufacturing plant in (location omitted), prompting labor authorities to investigate whether he violated the (pertinent governmental safety regulations).

According to the (local) Fire Headquarters on the (last week of May 2026), at around 12:58 a.m. the previous day, a worker named was run over by a forklift at an aluminum product manufacturing factory located in (location omitted).

Immediately after the accident, the emergency call was received stating that "he is conscious and able to move," and paramedics were dispatched to the scene, but it was determined that (worker) ultimately lost his life.

Immediately after the accident was discovered, the (government safety organization) branch of the (pertinent government department) issued an immediate work halt order to the workplace and began on-site investigations.

Currently, labor authorities are focusing their investigation on determining the exact cause of the accident and investigating whether employers and management managers comply with safety and health regulations, as well as violations of the governmental laws pertaining toward worker safety.

We offer our sincere condolences to the deceased worker’s family, friends, and coworkers. Though the news media article lists few details. It does list that it happened late at night. A common reason for late at night incidents is inadequate lighting.
